We just received a kind note from our friend and president of the Michigan State University Magicians’ Club, John Sturk. We have never actually met Mr. Sturk but have enjoyed our correspondence. Mr. Sturk writes that the MSU Magicians’ Club is planning a very special meeting this Wednesday, February 23rd.
Rick Fisher, the Man, will attend to lecture on the history of magic in Colon, Michigan. Mr. Fisher and his lovely wife, Cheryl, combined with Marilyn Abbott, to start the wonderful FAB Magic. If you have not checked out the FAB Magic site recently, you owe it to yourself to click the link below. We love the new products and the always-improving look to the site. (The blinking product names cause minor seizures but we are willing to grit our mouth guard and enjoy it).
Ms. Fisher includes the latest magic news streamed live from Inside Magic through the Inside Magic News Feed. If you would like to sign-up for the free news feed for your website ? and all of the cool sites are doing it now ? click the banner in the upper right-column on the Inside Magic webpage. On the other hand, heck, click here. It is free, it is easy, and you can customize it to match the look of your site. There are no ads, no requirements for information, and no limitations.
Ms. Fisher has done an outstanding job putting together a fantastic website. The graphics you see there are from her creative mind and the new effects are from their combined effort to continue the great tradition of magic in the Magic Capital of the World.
Mr. Fisher will present effects “from the diary of Percy Abbott.” We would love to see this presentation. Unfortunately, we are at our winter quarters in Gibtown (“Gibsonton, Florida”) assembling next year’s tour and won’t be able to attend. We had to sell our fifth interest in…

Mr. Fisher will present effects “from the diary of Percy Abbott.” We would love to see this presentation. Unfortunately, we are at our winter quarters in Gibtown (“Gibsonton, Florida”) assembling next year’s tour and won’t be able to attend. We had to sell our fifth interest in the private plane to buy a new Lady to Tiger illusion and fix-up the Milk Can Escape.
On a real neat note, the local Boy Scouts will attend to not only watch and learn from one of the best in the business, but to fulfill the magic badge requirements.
You can view the MSU Magicians’ Club at their always up-to-date website here.
Visit FAB Magic’s site as well. You will notice that FAB Magic has the latest magic news from Inside Magic through our Magic News Feed.
