Joe M. Turner |
We have been a gigantic fan of Joe Turner ever since he answered our email a few years ago; and then ? we’re guessing ? pretended to know us when we were introduced at the IBM Convention in Kansas City.
He is, as we say in the biz, a good guy.
Mr. Turner is a reviewer of magic in Genii Magazine and because we have learned to trust his opinion without question, we have learned things we would never have learned, bought things we would never have bought, and not-bought things we would have otherwise bought.
Mr. Turner was the one who told all Genii readers about Bob Cassidy?s Mental Miracles tape (now DVD). His description of the tape and assurance that even someone like me could learn it, brought us into a whole new, and profitable world.
As we used to say in Ireland: ?Here?s the thing (pronounced ?here?s da ting?). Mr. Turner does not have to be a nice guy. He doesn?t have to support the causes the ?cool guys and gals? consider to be lost. He doesn?t have to keep pushing to make magic better, more innovative, and more original.
Mr. Turner is one of the most accomplished corporate magicians in our realm. As someone who works for a Fortune four company, we were very impressed by the list of his past clients and recommendations. This guy has been around and has been appreciated. The big corporate clients aren?t usually known for their courtesy and free compliments. If they have praised Mr. Turner as much as documented on his website, that is an imprimatur we could not…

Li?l Tom Hardy, America?s Foremost Psychic Entertainer, once said ?if they clap, they do what they have to. If they invite you back, they do it because they want to.? Dad was, as always, right.
Mr. Turner was been invited back to the beautiful Chateau Elan in Braselton, GA, to serve as the featured entertainer during the resort?s 15th annual ?Lighting of the Chateau? celebration tonight, November 26th.
Mr. Turner noted that to be brought back for a third consecutive year is a true compliment. That just proves that great magicians think alike. My pop would be proud.
If you have a chance, even a remote chance, to see or book Mr. Turner, you need to take advantage of that opportunity. Mr. Turner is someone we should enjoy as magician or lay person. He is what we want to be and performs for the clients we can only dream of having.
