Houdini?s Niece and popular lecturer on the magic circuit, Marie H. Blood passed away Tuesday after a two-month illness.
Ms. Blood was such a kind and giving person and she will be missed. In lieu of flowers the family has established a foundation in Marie’s honor called the “Houdini Family Young Magicians Foundation” (HFYMF). The purpose is to assist young magicians pursue their interest in magic.
Tax deductible donations may be made payable to the “S.A.M. Magic Endowment Fund”, Attention: Donation to HFYMF, 234 Town Court, Lower Gwynedd, PA 19002.
On Sunday, the family has scheduled visitation and a Broken Wand Ceremony. Ms. Blood?s funeral mass is scheduled for Monday, November 8th at 10 am. It will be held at St. Lawrence Church, 1000 North Greece Rd, Rochester, NY 14626.
