Roy Horn Update: He Is Recovering With Dog In Room

reports tonight that Roy Horn or Siegfried and Roy is ?making a steady
recovery? and that his doctors say ?he has a great chance of surviving
this month?s tiger attack.?


In the area outside the University Medical Center, Mr. Horn?s supporters held a vigil on Sunday night and vow to meet each Sunday until the 59-year old performer is released. As one attendee told KVBC, “They’re a part of the Las Vegas community. I’ve lived here for 24 years. Siegfried and Roy are just part of your household.”


Mirage officials have publicly stated that it was ?an amble blood supply? that helped save Mr. Horn?s life. And
to ensure that other current and future patients have ready access to
blood needed for surgery, there will be a blood drive scheduled in Mr.
Horn?s name.


Finally, Mr. Horn?s faithful dog, Piaff, has been spending a lot of time in its master?s hospital room. Piaff is present pursuant to doctors? orders. ?Physicians
