Petrick Floats His Card

Petrick and Mia were late for the lecture. They had gotten lousy directions to the Garden City Magic Shop and were there just about a minute before the lecture was to start. I was in the parking lot as they pulled up.

Petrick asked me if I was a magician and I told him I was. He asked if I could get the rear door open so they could load their show. In the meantime, the incredibly beautiful Mia came running back in her high heels to say they were opening the door. They did, the show got loaded and the lecture began just five minutes late.

Incredible.

Can I say something that shouldn?t matter? Yes, Tim, you can. Okay, I have never seen a couple in magic ? with the exception of Tim Ellis and Sue-Anne Webster ? that were more in synch or more in love than Petrick and Mia. They work so well together and care so much about each other that it is inspiring.

Each of the effects Petrick and Mia offered were practical, easy to perform and positively amazing. Petrick?s style of teaching is not only well-suited for learning but entertaining in itself.

Petrick and Mia Took Time to Answer Every Question

He is such a charming entertainer that even when he is relating the secrets to his entertaining effects, he is entertaining. Haven?t you been at lectures where the instruction was provided in sort of a condescending manner or as if the secret should have been obvious to you?

Petrick shares his secrets as if we are all in on it together. He seems excited about what he is about to relate and charmingly proud in the method.

Do yourself a favor and make the trip necessary to see Petrick and Mia wherever they are. I purchased a few effects from them and found them to be well-made and as fun to do as they were to watch.
