In the November 3rd edition of Inside Magic, it was incorrectly reported that Harry Houdini died as a result of choking on a tuna sandwich. Mama Cass Elliot of the Mamas and the Pappas died from a tuna sandwich.
Houdini died from improperly cured corned beef. Inside Magic regrets the error.
In the December 25th ?Christmas?
edition of Inside Magic, it was erroneously reported that Santa Claus
uses magic to appear at shopping malls all around the world at the same
time. In fact, Santa does not appear ?all around the world? because there are countries where Christmas is not celebrated, like Japan or Connecticut. Inside Magic regrets the error.

The Centers for Disease Control (?CDC?) have confirmed that disease can be passed by re-using or sharing thumb tips. The CDC notes that the thumb is ?often the dirtiest digit on the hand.? There is no added protection by a small silk or mushed up cigarette in the thumb tip. ?Just say ?No?? is the CDC?s word to magicians. When
you share a thumb tip or buy a used thumb tip, you?re essentially
sticking your thumb wherever fifteen or twenty magicians have stuck
their thumb.
In this very column, it was incorrectly reported that Houdini died from eating ?an improperly cured corned beef sandwich.? Houdini actually died from sepsis from a ruptured appendix causing peritonitis. His appendix was allegedly ruptured when punched by a Montreal Art Student. The student, however, did have the smell of corned beef on his breath when questioned by Montreal authorities. Inside Magic regret the error.

In a recent edition of Inside Magic, Hillary Duff was shown as an example of a ?pop idle.? The correct spelling should have been ?pop idol.? Miss
Duff also notes that she is not a ?pop idol? based on her reading of
the Ten Commandments; specifically the first commandment that no graven
images be the subject of worship. Inside Magic regrets the error but still worships her but not in a bad way.
The
Centers for Disease Control (?CDC?) have warned that magicians should
not drink ?magic milk? often sold with ?magic milk pitchers.? The CDC notes that it is ?not milk? and ?can make magicians sick as Houdini after he ate a corned beef sandwich.?

In
a August 1970 edition of Inside Magic, it was reported that ?thanks to
the Internet, this magical site can be viewed by millions of people all
over the world ? including those areas that do not celebrate Christmas, like Japan or Connecticut.? In
fact, there was no Internet at the time and for the first 20 years of
Inside Magic, it was read only by the author and his
housekeeper/sidekick Kato.
On a recent Inside Magic Sale of the Century, Iraqi Most Wanted Cards were offered for sale. The cards were said to depict the faces of 53 of the most wanted war criminals of the Iraqi regime. In fact, the cards showed only the ?greatest female ventriloquists or female cohorts of ventriloquists.? The cards had 53 alternating pictures of Fran from Kukla, Fran and Ollie and Sheri Lewis. Inside Magic does note, however, that Kukla looks very much like Omar Hassan, the younger cousin of Sadam.

Dan Sperry – The Best |
In a September 2002 edition of Inside Magic, it was reported that the ?Greatest Dove Worker in the World, Including Japan and Connecticut,? was James Dimmare. In fact, the best dove worker is Dan Sperry.
While Mr. Dimmare does a great dove act, for style and inventiveness, we have to go with Dan Sperry.
Besides, we keep getting errors when we try to access Mr. Dimmare?s site that shut down our browser.
