In addition to using magic to motivate physical exercise, Ms. O’Carroll offers:

The Magic Library ? Ms. O’Carroll is “Debra Cadabra” who becomes lost in a library and with the audience’s help, explores different types of children literature.

The Railroad Magic Show ? As Alice Kazoo, Ms. O’Carroll teaches kids from 3 to 10 about fascinating folks and creatures in our United States.

The Irish Magic Show ? Ms. O’Carroll celebrates Irish myths, folk legends and poetry with contemporary stage magic.  As far as we know, this is the only magic presentation featuring a Ghostly Pooka and a Banshee.  (In keeping with the well-established Irish tradition of scaring the living lunch out of children, our parents warned that if we misbehaved, we would hear the banshee’s scream at night).

Tall Tales From a Small World ? Ms. O’Carroll uses magic, mime, drama and dance for four to ten-year-olds.  The audience learns about Ireland, Mexico, Japan and Ghana.

Whoops the Wizard ?Ms. O’Carroll‘s alter ego uses stage magic to illustrate “the magic of invention” and the interesting people in the history of science.

Shorten the Road…Tales of Ireland ? Ms. O’Carroll takes children four to ten-years-old on a journey to Ireland where they learn songs, hear Irish language, meet a tap dancing donkey, and follow St. Brendan as he traveled to America.

Celebrate the December Holidays! ? Ms. O’Carroll treats children four to twelve-years-old to magic, story telling, dance and music, as they celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Las Posadas, The First Day of Winter, Dewali, New Year’s Eve, St. Stephen‘s Day, Three King’s Day and more.  Ms. O’Carroll also has a special Halloween Trick or Treat magic Show.

The Yankee Doodle Magic Show ? features Ms. O’Carroll in a review of American culture and history.  Children four to ten-years-old meet Punxsutawney Phil, the official American groundhog; Sybil Ludington, the female Paul Revere; Champ, the monster of Lake Champlain; Mary Pickersgill, the maker of the Star Spangled Banner; and Johnny Appleseed. The Yankee Doodle Magic Show features tall tales, tap dancing and stage magic.

Magical Medley ? Ms. O’Carroll brings vaudeville back for children ages three to nine-years-old with magic, music, puppets, masks, and dance.  The kids help Ms. O’Carroll‘s confused wizard learn the secret of the world’s first mirror, solve the Vanishing Tiger Cub Mystery, and provide sound effects for a nightmare.

Ms. O’Carroll also performs with her Irish-born husband, Tom in additional programs.

Okay, confession time:  it so tempting to avoid the hard-work of developing our ideas and practicing our own routines by “borrowing” or “using” or “stealing” or “ripping-off” Ms. O’Carroll’s great work.  We won’t do it though because: 1) it is wrong; 2) it would not appear authentic because we had not worked through the nuances; and 3) under applicable court order, we are no longer allowed to dress up as a woman in a public performance involving “any type of dancing mule, donkey, or striped-horse.
