Cole Ford, former place kicker for the Oakland Raiders was arrested last year for firing several shotgun blasts at Siegfried & Roy?s Las Vegas compound. Since his arrest, the trial court has had questions concerning his ability to stand trial and to assist in his own defense.
Despite Mr. Ford?s complaints to the court that he was capable of standing trial, the court disagreed and sent the troubled young man to a Nevada mental institution.
There was no comment from Siegfried or Roy on the incident or this apparent resolution.
